Fabio, living the eighteen years-old monotony, shares a home with his mother, a woman left alone after the illusion of a normal life. The young boy works as a helper on the shores of a little lake in the alps, at the boat rental pier. Time goes by and, in front of his eyes, people’s lives pass through on the riverbank. Boredom, protagonist of the long summer afternoons, is broken by three boys wanting to sail on the lake.
